Pop-punk is a really popular music genre right now for weddings with their anthem feel and singalong choruses. Enjoy a few of my favorite pop-punk songs for weddings!

While I tried to stay strictly to Pop-Punk, a couple of Emo and alt-rock hits may have crept into the list.

This is the 4th edition of songs from the 2000s. Also, check out 2000s Hip Hop, 2000s R&B, and 2000s Pop playlists. More hits from the 2000s to come.

Table of Contents:

  • Party Songs

  • Background Songs (Dinner/Cocktail Hour)

  • (Spotify Playlist) - 42 songs!

One condition to this list. Every song must have been released in the 2000s. Nothing from the 1990s and 2010s!

Party Time

1985 - Bowling For Soup

2004 - The song reached #23 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The song's catchy melody, relatable lyrics about longing for one's youth, and tongue-in-cheek references to 80s culture resonate with listeners of all ages.

Are You Gonna Be My Girl - Jet

2003 - "Are You Gonna Be My Girl" was influenced by the electronic dance music that was popular in Australia at the time. It reached #29 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it their first top-40 hit and their highest-charting single.

Be My Escape - Relient K

2004 - The song was their first entry on the US Billboard Hot 100, where it peaked at #82. Relient K also released an acoustic version of the song on the "Apathetic EP" in 2005.
