This week I offer tips for Wedding pros.
The content that immediately loads on your websiteās home page is vital to whether or not your potential customer will generate a lead.
Letās start with why mobile and not all visitors to your site.
My friend Alan Berg tells wedding business owners āYou should know how many visitors come to your website on mobile and from desktop devicesā. This will help you make better decisions on what/how to optimize your site.
For my website (My Wedding Songs), 74% of my visitors see my website on a mobile device. The below chart is taken from my Google Analytics account.
What are the stats for your website? You must know this as āmostā couples will commonly visit your website on their phones. Most corporate clients will likely visit your website from their desktop computers during work hours.
So, if engaged couples visit your website on their phones, what do they see?
I will tell you 3 VERY important things to divulge to couples when they go to your home page.
Firstly, why the home page?
If someone searches for āBest wedding DJs in Chicagoā, they will be shown a map with 3 businesses. A link to the website will show if the business has a website listed in their businessā Google profile.
The website link will link to your home page! (for single-location businesses)
Okay! Now you know the importance of focusing on your home page.
Enjoy these 3 random home page mobile screenshots from searching for Chicago wedding DJs (no affiliation - random Google searches).
*Note: The pictures were taken on my Google Pixel 6a.
Now that you have studied these 3 DJās websites, what do you think is necessary to have on your own website?
