The hard truth is that new music is not "exciting guestsā€ like it was in the 90s.

Why? We are all listening to our own personalized playlists.

There is no centralized medium where people listen to the same music.

  • No mass listeners to Sunday morning music countdowns.

  • No Total Request Live (TRL) to know the hot new music and artists.

  • And so on…

So, you can take my favorite party songs of 2026 so far and use them as a barometer to test which hits will take off, which ones will pop with very specific crowds, and which ones will die off.
