July didn’t drop singles. It dropped albums. Four of the biggest names in music all landed full-length records. The question isn’t “what’s new.” It’s “what actually belongs at a wedding.”

Madonna gave us ‘CONFESSIONS II’ (July 3), a straight sequel to Confessions on a Dance Floor. Seventeen tracks, built for the floor. If you listen to one album this month, make it this one.

Ariana Grande closed July with ‘petal’ (July 31). Fair warning: it’s a rage record, not a first-dance record. Crate-dig carefully.

Gracie Abrams went introspective on ‘Daughter From Hell’ (July 17). A couple of these could sneak into a ceremony or a slow set.

Future posted the month’s biggest numbers with ‘The Real Me’ (July 10). Twenty-two tracks. Chart gold, but read the room before it touches your reception.
