This month, two of the most useful new songs were renewed. Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time” and Looking Glass’ “Brandy”. Both returned as dance remixes. Each one is a song every generation already knows, at a tempo that keeps cocktail hour or doors open groovin’.
The trending lists show the same pull toward older music. Danzig, Evanescence and Fleetwood Mac are climbing alongside Tate McRae and Olivia Dean, and spooky season clearly made it onto the charts. Inside: 16 new wedding songs released in October, from a John Mayer dinner-set track to a Shania Twain love song built for the quiet moments, plus trending lists for every part of the night.
